FIBA approves 2 international referees and 5 referees, including one woman (an international referee), on its roster for the 2025-2027 cycle.

They are:

Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shaikhi

and Mr. Reda Namnakani as international referees, in addition to the approval of 5 international referees from the Kingdom: Abdullah Al-Hujaili, Abdul Rahman Bukhari, Abdul Rahman Al-Harbi, Fahd Al-Shaikhi, and Ghadeer Murtada.

They earned their international badges after passing the technical requirements and tests approved by FIBA, qualifying them to officiate matches in international and continental tournaments under the FIBA umbrella.

This is the first time in a long while that this many Saudi personnel have been internationally accredited, a move that reflects the Saudi Basketball Federation’s efforts to empower qualified national talent.
